Assignments:  

You may work on any of the following projects.  I am requiring EVERYONE to complete the Quarantine Quilt project.  Please email me if you have any problems.   I know some of you are fast workers so you may complete as many projects as you want.   Everyone should be sending me progress photos via email (at least one a week).

 

1)  Quarantine Quilt Project

This is a collaborative project that I thought would be fun to complete while we are all quarantined at home.  Each student should complete a quilt square with an image that represents your current experience during this historic time.

  1. Create a 12×12 block (with a 1 inch seam allowance on each side)
  2. Any type of solid fabric as long as it can be sewn together as part of a quilt. (you may even use discarded shirts/sheets if your parents approve)
  3. You may use any medium – paint, pen and ink, water color, embroidery, etc)
  4. Be sure and put your name on the back of the square.

  1. Congressional Art Competition

Theme – Louisiana Sportsmen

Maximum size – 26”x26”

Any medium acceptable
